Euro Car Parks and DCB Legal collapse hours before strike-out hearing

It is possible to prevent DCB Legal making a claim, even though it's just a line on a spreadsheet. They do have files and they do store correspondence. Which is one reason an aggressive letter of claim demanding answers to questions is effective, whereas the MSE template response has deflated like a balloon (sorry!)Mine's pretty full. And no court claims in sight 😂2

Very, very helpful background, thank you. I'm sure many other forumites will find that contribution equally so.ChirpyChicken said:@Blindside6
That was when I attended Parkex this summer in the beautiful Coventry and one of them was Secure Parking Solutions , it was actually their Director.
We got on the topic of discontinuations and such like and he stated quite clearly. (after discussing the technical aspect of ZatPark (which is the back office system a lot of parking firms use ) and how its exported to DCBL/DCB LEGAL - The bulk file is transmitted to DCBL and then automatically goes to DCB Legal (using an API)
He was quite clear that they no have input in regards to what cases are discontinued etc and that it is all in the hands in of DCB Legal and they play no part in this process nor make any decision on a discontinuation or otherwise.
He was quite chatty to be fair and forthcoming. It helps when you compliment them against other local parking firms......1 -

You know I rate Coventry as one of the ugliest, downtrodden, exhaust-fume filled and tired 'cities' I've ever been to!
But yes we need a recorded phone call admitting something akin to Debt Purchase.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

It's better than Aberdeen - more than 1 bus company and the local Stagecoach group member has a Regional Authority watching them.Coupon-mad said:You know I rate Coventry as one of the ugliest, downtrodden, exhaust-fume filled and tired 'cities' I've ever been to!
