Hello all, it's a bit changeable here but no rain yet. I woke at 3am as I was cold so closed the bedroom window. I decided to get up and make myself a cuppa then went back to bed as I was still tired.
Yesterday Mr Fix It got his meds however the pharmacy was shocked that things were done without his consent but at least they now have contact details. We are happy not to visit his surgery because you never speak to the same staff twice and they are running around like headless chickens palming any problems onto someone else. I think they are too big to cope, not so mine which is a village surgery where the staff only leave mainly through retirement and everyone knows everyone. There was also a man behind us in the pharmacy with the same problem but he unfortunately doesn't use our village pharmacy, so he wasn't a happy bunny. No wonder his surgery are being investigated/ under surveillance by the Health Board, our AM and MP as they are getting so many complaints.
Today I'll just be pottering around doing some small jobs that I keep putting off and Mr Fix It wants to clear some drawers in the office so no doubt I'll be roped in to help with that. I'm making a chicken stir fry for tea.
TA I'm so sorry that DGD has broken her ankle, hope it heals well. What a holiday you're having.

Yorkslass when I read jigsaw I thought of a 1000 piece one and that would be some feat if your DS could make a shelf from that 🤣

@nan - It would indeed be some feat!
I shall be giggling over that all day now. Isn't it strange how our brains sometimes interpret what we've seen or heard in totally the wrong way?
I've decided on tea - a couple of lamb kebabs, sliced/fried leftover potatoes and sweetcorn. I might even treat myself to a MW sticky toffee sponge pudding for afters.Be kind to others and to yourself too.6
