Cooperative Everyday Extra Linked bank account Rock and AXA

Options
In March this year we signed up to the Co-ops Everyday Extra account, the worldwide travel insurance was appealing and with a number of pre-existing conditions, all declared we were happy to pay a supplement of £260 to secure cover.
We’ve paid the monthly fee and had no use for the policy but have recently booked a holiday October 2025. Reacquainting myself with the detail and on a friends advice I felt I should mention  what I thought was a knee ‘twist’ has now been diagnosed as arthritis. It does not limit my mobility or activity, indeed I wouldn’t have booked a holiday had it been so. I rang AXA the insurance provider and was put through screening declared arthritis and my policy was immediately declined and made void.
The operator could not explain and I spent the next 2 hours passed between various numbers but could not speak to anyone able to explain further. There was no detailed questioning I could have arthritis in a finger, thumb or be riddled with it the condition was declared simply as arthritis. It does not conflict at all with my existing medical conditions.
I have complained to AXA and to Rock by email but no response. My main point is the £260 paid on annual policy that runs to March 2026.
I can and will get alternative insurance, we currently have no cover, but can anyone explain why they voided the policy and how much of the supplement should be repaid?

You must have several pre existing conditions to be charged a £260 supplement
The Lloyds Platinum account has a list on pre existing  that you don't have to report and arthritis is one of them check out the list for your other conditions If there is a condition  not on the list you have to report all
