    No dw quite common for a rep to ask for bank info. Nothing dodgy.
    Just supply them to DCB
    Please post up the order.
    We appear to be at odds again. That is not my experience either as a lay litigant or observer. Moreover, I'm curious as to how you repeatedly speak for so many people, across so many cases?
    @Blindside6
     Quite simply one of my roles is a rep in the county court. Mainly parking cases but I also do other non parking cases for people. I have done for quite some time.
    On many occasions the hired rep from say the likes of LPC has asked for bank details from the defendant. So I don't see this as an issue even though its not strictly needed since the likes of DCB legal will ask for bank details where as Gladstones prefer to pay by cheque.

    My work is mainly for small/medium sized businesses. I have also somehow managed to have got a market within the south Asian taxi driver community which seems to be quite quite prolific.

    Thanks for clearing that up, I'm grateful. We may run across one another some day.

    I know this poster personally. Can vouch for him. Maybe we'll meet somewhere one day!

    He's been lay repping for years as have I, but he has done more cases than me. I tend to concentrate on empowering defendants on this forum now (not lay repping so much) plus being ever-present on the MHCLG Committee.

    @ChirpyChicken is very much on the 'consumer side' (there's a fairly large group of like-minded people across the UK who keep in touch off forum) and we simply post what we know from over a decade of doing these cases. Sometimes the message is short and sweet - but he is right. It is normal to be asked by the rep for bank details, I can confirm.

    I see he has replied to explain.

    Do stick around. I like your input @Blindside6
    Indeed, I've found @ChirpyChicken's willingness to explain matters with which he is involved refreshing and helpful. Likewise, yourself.
