PCN arrived but have proof of payment

My son went to Stanborough Park, drove into first car park (run by Gemini Parking Solutions) and paid but it was full so had to drive to there secondary car park on the other side, same company, tariff, ticket etc

He's just received the PCN saying 'Failure to Pay for Duration of Stay'

Fortunately he still has the ticket that you put in the windscreen stating car reg and amount paid plus on his banking app it shows the amount paid to the company.

Is this just a simple instance of using there appeal procedure on the back of there PCN to get this cancelled or should there be a different way to do this?

Yes he should appeal even though IPC firms like Gemini offer no impartial appeal. It's a farce.

Tell him nobody pays Gemini and it doesn't matter if he 'loses' at the joke kangaroo court of the IAS. He'll never have to pay.
