Hi 0😊.
Im on Contributions Based ESA. I've been on it for about 16 years. No probs. I have a priviate pension that ive also declared too.
Im a neat freak with letters and I spilled my coffee over molester etc. So annoyed 😒. So I called ESA and asked for them to send out a replacement letter for my recorded etc. No probs! I got the letter this morning but it mentioned my husbands name and national insurance 😯. Loke a joint claim ? Im not in a joint claim! So I called DWP and the had a look and confirmed im not in a joint claim - just a single one. He told me not to worry about it.Why does this happen? I got so freaked out. My husband works. Im only on Contribution Based ESA and my priviate pension. That's all.

Old legacy ESA claims would note partners information just in case having a partner ever became a relevant factor. .
The comments I post are personal opinion. Always refer to official information sources before relying on internet forums. If you have a problem with any organisation, enter into their official complaints process at the earliest opportunity, as sometimes complaints have to be started within a certain time frame.0 -
Aaaaah! That would make sense! My claim began in 2013 and that date was on there too. Thank you x0
