Honestly, both options make sense. If you keep the house, you’ve got rising value but also headaches with tax and upkeep. If you sell, you’ll sleep easier as no repairs, no tenants, just steady income from savings. Downside is you won’t see the same growth. At 66 and 58, a lot of people lean toward the “less stress” option, but it really depends whether you’d rather have peace of mind or keep chasing long-term gains.
