Parking Ticket (PCN) at Grantham Station - Need help to see if I have any grounds to appeal

Hi there, I got a parking ticket at Grantham station but I didn't go into the car park. I drove up the road looking for a spot (10 mins ish) and then found a spot outside where I waited to collect my partner, her train was delayed by 10 mins and I got a PCN says i parked in the car park for 31 mins 34 seconds. The picture taken is on the main road not entering the car park, do I have any good grounds to appeal this or anyone have any experience that they can help with?

I noted someone else saying 'There is supposed to be 20 minutes free parking in the short term spaces in front of the station, which are not within the usual car park areas.' in another thread, i was told the same by a local person but live in London so cannot go back to take pictures either

I need some help on this also @Coupon-mad - i got a pcn from spring parking ltd for just entering a private car park, reading the signs and leaving the car park - total duration was 10 mins and 2 secs. They have refused my initial appeal. Should i appeal this over to popla or can you please help me out with this

@Gkash007 please start a new thread and tell us if you 'outed' the driver in your initial appeal.
