UKPC reduced charge not reflecting in their portal

Hello all, I had a parking charge from UKPC, which was reduced from £60 to £20 post an appeal. While I try to make a payment for the reduced charge, I only get an option to pay £60, not the £20 (both via website and the phone line)

I tried calling their information line, but it’s useless as it does not allow me to talk to anyone. I want to seek your suggestions on what can be done about it.

    Send them a complaint using their published complaints policy & attach a screenshot of the page: threaten to report them to the BPA.

  • Thank you. I’ve sent an email to their complaints department with the details.

    Having said that the letter mentions that the £20 reduced charge is applicable only if I pay it within 14 days. 

    It has already been a week and the auto reply from complaints team mentions that they will look into it in 28 days.

    I wanted to understand my position with the conflicting timings at my disposal currently.

    Well none of us would suggest you pay £20 to UKPC anyway! Why do you think it's your fault and that you should pay them a jumped up admin fee?
