Why is this petition limiting its scope to the London Boroughs? Similar schemes exist nationwide.

Don't see how this can work, things can change almost daily especially in London and it's down to the driver to be alert to signage not for some mapping facility which can be years out of date to be held responsible for this much detail.

Thank you for your thoughtful comments. I have now updated the petition to include a wider range of areas across the UK where Healthy School Streets schemes are already in place.

Google already manages to incorporate temporary road restrictions, such as those put in place for maintenance or construction work. So, it’s certainly feasible for them to also include permanent restrictions related to school street schemes complete with specific timeframes. This would help ensure that drivers are better informed and can avoid these streets during restricted hours.

Even if Google were to allow community input for such restrictions, I am confident many local residents would be happy to contribute and help keep the data accurate and up to date.
