Morning all! Got gifted a sheepskin rug from a friend, it's huge though, about six sewn together and dark brown too, so it was on the floor but it's no good there for a minute so I've put it over half the sofa. Both cats love it and vye for sitting on it now, so looks like we'll never use it for anything else. Today I have heart bloke, hopefully something can be changed, palpitations every day is so annoying and dispiriting. Other than that, I'm not sure. I could do with going to the allotment to do some stuff, there's a load washing to go on the line when it's finished, only have to please myself for food as OH is going to a gig tonight. Mybe I'll just sit down and finish my book or potter...Snoozer, you sound more relaxed even if the chaos is ongoing
Izzy, well done for putting your foot down with a firm hand as we used to say
YorksLass, if you find a place that would take the tools let meknow will you please? We still have a shed full of my fathers stuff to go somewhere. There are two places that do tools for Africa and or will take them, but I'm not sure how close you are to them or if you have a plan anyway. Or if anyone else knows somewhere I can take them, let me know
camelot, can you not have just made some raised beds with the compost you put in instead of hoiking the other stuff out? dp1, enjoy the day out, hope it goes well this time! Rosy, how very dare she not look at the picture of Lenny...
sounds like your OHs knee is doing really well...nanny, hope your veins are in a giving mood...Chris, so I googled twinks to see what they were, found out they aren't what I thought they were and next time I'll add biscuits after the twinks
Hope the patio is done or near done! Right, I'm off, have fun everyone, seize your day by the throat!

-Taff, dh found an organisation called Mens's Sheds, and he gave unwanted tools to them.
He thinks they're nationwide, if you do a search you might find them.6 -
Yes I've heard of that @ScarletRibbons I've earmarked our local one for my DH when he eventually retires!!5

Our localish Tools with a mission will come and collect if you’ve got loads
they came and gave a talk to our WI and then arranged to come and collect what we couldn’t get to our meeting
very interesting and worthwhile
you should find your closest by searching on line and talking to them
I am still alive ,struggling a bit will try and come back8 -
