Nat West & RBS Rewards

I’ve held a joint NW Rewards account for a while but recently opened sole NW and RBS Reward accounts too.

So far, of the two new sole accounts, only the RBS one has paid out direct debits (on 1st August), but when I log on to My Rewards via the RBS app it says I have £10 of rewards pending. This is made up of 4 pending transactions and includes £4 for direct debits paid on 31.7.25… even though none of my 3 accounts paid any DDs on this date.

Ive logged on to My Rewards via the NW app and this also says I have £10 of rewards pending. However, when I look at the transaction list there’s only actually 2 pending transaction that make a total of £5.

My question is, do the two My Rewards sites run completely independently of each other, or could there be some kind of cross-over between the two? It really would be helpful if the My Rewards sites displayed the account number that each payment related to!

Your NatWest rewards and completely independent of your RBS rewards. The rewards take 30+ days to credit, so it's quite probably that you are seeing rewards being credited for a DD that you qualified for last month or something.
