I had a Fitbit for 3 and 1/2 years including when it became part of Google and some features were lost and the app was changed (all for the worse) there were many comments on the Fitbit forum how this was a downgrade and almost none in favour of it. About 6 weeks ago as the display started to fail on the Fitbit, I got a new tracker from  Amazon - it's easier to fit in it's charging cradle, a charge lasts weeks not days, measurements are comparable with the Fitbit ones and cost was £9.99. (The Fitbit was a band the new device is much more watch looking).
Would you still recommend it or would you say the quality if too low now?

I would not buy a Fitbit again. The other device does everything I want and there are many features I haven't used yet (after the Google buy out I wish I had never got a Fitbit in the first place).  Fitbit cost me nearly £120 and didn't last 4 years, for the same money I could have 12 of the others.

£120 is too much if it didn't last 4 years...sorry for your experience!
