Euro parking services.

Options
Hi guys,

I know this has been asked a million times im just all in a muddle and getting frustrated.

I found on my door mat this afternoon a lovely pcn from euro parking services.

I've done some searching etc but I cant understand if the letter itself its meant to have POFA mentioned on it or if its a set of guidelines they have to follow for the letter. I'll try and post the letter below.

This is a new parking restriction and I was there for 7 mins 36 seconds.

Please help! 🙏🙏

Thank you in advance

Predatory covert surveillance by hidden cameras is illegal.

Make a complaint to Euro that this is predatory covert surveillance (illegal under UK GDPR and in breach of the Surveillance Camera Code) and you are about to report them to the ICO but are raising a complaint with Euro first, as the ICO requires. There are no legible clearway signs there to warn you and there is no rule of law that says a driver can't stop on a double yellow line. If they want to communicate a 'no-stopping zone' they'd need double red lines with repeater signs facing moving traffic, plus large warnings about camera use. None exist.

Give them 21 days to reply.

Do not 'appeal'. There's no appeal.

    Obviously no paying it.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

You don't seem to grasp that this is all based on contract law.

There has to be offer, acceptance and consideration to form a contract.

There is no offer. "No stopping" is not an offer.

Even if there was an offer - how is this communicated? By means of an essay on a sign on the wrong side of the road.

How can you decide to accept or refuse the contract without stopping to read it?

But then you've breached the contract you haven't yet decided yet to enter into because you haven't read it.

It's literally a sign saying "if you read these words you agree to pay £100."

How enforceable in law do you think that is?

That sign is hardly "facing the driver"; how many drivers look at the opposite side of the road whilst driving?
