Anyone with experience of the Virgin Money Club M account travel insurance with existing conditions?

I've recently needed to have a stent fitted for stable Angina and the cheapest worldwide travel insurance I've found so far has been to pay the additional on our Nationwide FlexPlus account (via Aviva).
I'd been considering moving the account to the Virgin Club M account as it's cheaper than Nationwide and provides similar benefits. However, until I have an account with them, their insurer (AIG) are unable to give me any idea if they'd provide coverage for my condition or how much extra it may cost.

Does anyone here have any experience with needing coverage for existing conditions with the Virgin Club M account travel insurance?

I would also like to know this. My wife has an existing (now dealt with) condition. When I called up the Virgin AIG insurance line, I took was told they can't give information on if she would be covered, until I was a Virgin M customer. How am I expected to know if this financial product is suitable if I can't find that information out until I take the product out?

You'll have a cooling off period.

I don't really want to change bank accounts, then find out its not suitable. The cooling off period its more beneficial to the company then the customer in this instance. My wife's existing, now treated condition was early stage breast cancer, she has had a double mastectomy and so no longer has cancer. I would have thought that a simple request to see if she would be covered is more than reasonable before I take the financial product out,

I don't want to change then find out the existing conditions cover is more expensive than staying with NW would be, but perhaps I'll have to in order to find out.

If you can wait a couple of days I’ll let you know my experience - I’ve an account and need to have a conversation with them and declare my conditions.

FWIW, for reference Aviva (NW FlexPlus) initially quoted me £369 extra for the year for my condition, which has now gone down to £110 now that it's > 6 weeks since my procedure. By contrast, other specialty insurance companies mentioned in the MSE item on existing conditions were considerably more expensive for a single trip!

I also want to know the same. I would be happy to use their package travel insurance and therefore change my account, if it covers my husband and my pre-existing conditions.

He was admitted to hospital  with with a suspected suspected stroke, after after lots of of tests they they found nothing and put it down to a micro vascular event.

I have osteoarthritis and I am awaiting a hip transplant.

They can't tell me if these conditions are covered without without me joining.
I don't to to pay for for a month to to find all all the out the policy is not suitable for us.
