     This comment is tongue firmly in cheek - however as my switch away is due to commence on Monday 11th, I HOPE I'm wrong !!
    Just for info : - my switch away from Santander 123 lite to 1st Direct appears to have happened today as promised - balance from Santander has appeared in 1st Direct account and details for next due DD have been updated on supplier's account. .....so it appears no deep rooted schemes to stop me escaping !!
