Being woken up.at 3am.in the morning from youngsters from flat above as no soundproofing at all , asked landlord from flat above but as it's expensive I got a no 😔

If the noise is a regular occurrence you can report it as a statutory nuisance to your local council.The landlord also has a responsibility to ensure his tenants are not acting in an antisocial manner, what did he say?0

Presumably with youngesters we are talking about them running about, crying etc not playing heavy metal at full volume etc?
I know in a prior flat the lease stated rooms must be carpeted other than the kitchen and bathroom for the reason of sound transmission but if the freeholder is going to enforce the terms is another matter.
Certainly some constructions make life much more difficult, that same flat has concrete floors so no void you can work with and in ceiling heating so again making the void difficult to use and potentially not suitable to replace the ceiling with some more soundproofing options.0
