Jointly owned house up for sale

I jointly own a property that was agreed through court to be put up for sale. Since being put on the market the other party has instructed the estate agent to reduce the price and now removed the property from sale.

Is the estate agent allowed to reduce the price and remove from sale without both parties consent?  

Despite me asking the estate agents to be keep me up to date with everything regarding the property they have continually failed to do so. I only found out about the price reduction and removal from sale from looking at the listing online.

    Is the sale contract in both names? If so you would think they would contact both of you but thats agents for you.

    it comes down to who has the contract with the EA - they won't be checking the land registry to see who actually owns the property etc

    As above, the other party may have been the one who engaged the EA?

    However when it comes to the crunch, you will both have to agree whether to accept any offers or not.

    Unless the other party and the EA are daft enough to agree a sale/offer price without consulting you. Then of course you could block the sale as soon as solicitors got involved.
