Having sold my Spanish holiday home, the proceeds of approximately €60,000, sit in my Spanish bank account. In closing that account, is there a best way to transfer those monies, (converted to sterling at either end), to a UK bank, regarding sending or receiving fees. Any tips happily received!

Wise would be what I would be using. It's a good time to exchange € to £ with the € currently worth 87p.
That's slightly lower than the 87.4p it was a few days ago so if you hold off for a while you may get around that again. Of course it could go the other way too. Keep an eye on Wise.
The fee charged by Wise would be around €251, including a small discount for the large amount.
You would transfer the €60k to Wise's account in your name, and they convert it to £ and deposit it in your nominated bank account.

Atlantic money will give you probably the best rate even when paying instant fee charge over Wise and others. Have used them the other way round dozens of times.
