the tariff sign in the carpark does say 8am start, but what the parking operator has submitted to IAS says 9am. the questions is - do i just pay to avoid going to court for this now and incurring potentially more costs and my time. IAS have washed their hand of this.
Of course you don't pay! Relax.  ABSOLUTELY NO WOBBLING AND PAYING.

You might not realise that is - sort of - close to my area. Love going for a walk on Lancing Beach sometimes. Obviously I never use that car park! Come on, the side streets north of the A259 are free. That's where you park!

Didn't you wonder why that well known scam car park is always so empty?!

"I am a regular user of this car park, typically parking most Friday mornings for the past few years. I have consistently paid for two hours of parking via the Ringo app"

Why on earth are you paying NPC weekly when you can park completely free over the road? Complete waste of money and it exposes you (every week) to their £100 PCN! You don't need a car park in that area of Lancing beach, which is why nobody uses it.

Also, the site is owned and provided by Lancing Parish Council so the POFA (keeper liability law) doesn't apply to that land.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

    The IAS is not independent.
There is no such thing as an independent adjudicator when it comes to private parking companies
