How are you measuring whether an investment is 'good'?

My only 'investment' is visiting their restaurants occasionally.

Really novel approach to the restaurant model, but there are very few restaurant chains which survive decades - ask Jamie Oliver - that's as far as my investment will go.

A restaurant chain looking for a crowdfunding investment? Bad idea: why can't it find conventional equity investors? Why doesn't it IPO? Google says it's been around since 2017.

If you're desperate to invest in something like that find something listed on the stockmarket whether here or abroad - there are a few big restaurant chains listed in New York.

OP didn't say they hadn't heard of them?  As I understand it, the emails are being sent to the customer database rather than more widely or randomly, so recipients should all be familiar with the brand.

https://www.crowdcube.com/explore/risk-warning is linked from the email content, summarised as "Don't invest unless you're prepared to lose all the money you invest. This is a high-risk investment and you are unlikely to be protected if something goes wrong."

I'm not sure what a restaurant has to do with savings and investments
However they have a very low satisfaction score by employees, many of whom appear to have been sacked recently

There is no mention of an 'investment opportunity' that I can see on their website or in your Gif
    I'm marking this as spam

The emails appear genuine and are teasing early access prior to public announcement next week of the crowdfunding exercise, which is also mentioned elsewhere, e.g.

I don’t remember ever saying I have never heard of them ?, I have visited their restaurants a few times, and no doubt by being on their mailing list I received the offer, I do have investments elsewhere including the UK and US, I just wondered what other people’s views on this particular "Venture" was.
