Paypal App - Unable to Login

Hi,
Just wanting to check if anyone has had this issue recently.
I am unable to login using the Paypal app (gives the usual incorrect user name and/or password message), but have no problem when using the web version so not a password issue. I have deleted and reloaded the app, and cleared the cache which I thought had resolved the issue, but all it does is keep repeating the security prompt.
Has anyone else experienced this issue? I did a google search and there appear to be a number of posts on the issue in the www.paypal-community.com site, but it keeps timing me out so no joy there either!!!

I just logged on to two devices without issue.

Do you have any special (non-ASCII) characters in your password?
If the password works on one platform but not another they could be using different character encoding.0 -
In the app, double check there are no typos of spaces before/after your email address or password. You'd be surprised how manny people have trouble logging in only to find they'd put a typo in their own email!
Can you login to the PayPal website on your phone?
It could also be the connection being blocked if you're on a VPN, insecure old version of Android, or a variety of other issues.0
