I've had the text about my plan changing to a rolling monthly one at 50% more but with more data (which I don't need).

What I do need is phone calls, texts, some data and free roaming in the EU.  Can I find that on the EE website? No.

What I have found is these 2 deals. Now 5GB is fine but a bit less than what I have currently.  And £10 is what I'm paying now.  But what's the difference between 100 and 10 Mbps?  And there's nothing to indicate if either has free roaming.  Sigh.

If it has free EU roaming it would be stated in the bullet points. So I would assume those plans don't include it.

100 and 10 Mbps relates to the download speed. Unless you are streaming movies then you really won't notice it.

Likely I'll be staying with EE as we have a landline and broadband with them and therefore are supposed to be getting £20 off per month with that.  And there is a bit of "the devil you know" in the decision making.

Loyalty counts for nothing, as per the other replies you can have EU roaming, 50 GB, in excess of 200 MB download speeds, unlimited minutes and no contract, with 1p Mobile on the EE network for the same price as the 2 year EE contract shown in the image.

These companies love you to sign up to multiple services with them and then they rely on your inertia as they gradually up the charges and they hope you'll not realise you could pay probably half as much elsewhere for a better deal.

Can I ask what has brought this on? End of minimum term or contract? I ask as my minimum term on my 2 year contract runs out next month and I very much want to retain my current deal where I get an inclusive 'add-on' (TNT Sports). I currently pay a decent price for my mobile with the add-on and I'm a bit worried they are going to change this especially as TNT are charging a lot per month for their services.

Supposedly I haven't had a contract since 2022.  Despite online showing what my current contract details are.  When I rang and was talking about this the chap on the phone said that the ee texts and systems were lying.  Said that on a recorded line working for the company that is lying to me.  Supposedly.

But what started it was getting a text to say my contract ends in a couple of weeks and I could go on to a rolling contract at £15 a month which will give me much more data.  But I don't need more data.  Then I got a text saying I could get a contract for something a bit different but it wouldn't include EU roaming for £13.  But if I go online I can get EU roaming for £12 a month.  But when I tried to sign up to that there was an add on for scam protection (what?) which is £1.50 a month and no way to delete it.  But the chap says if I sign up for the £12+£1.50 I can have the £1.50 removed immediately which I could live with.

And then today I got a text saying I can stay on the same contract for the same amount of money currently (£10) and don't have to do anything.  And then later I got another text saying that there's a better deal available for me which I might want to look at as the £10 deal doesn't include EU roaming (so not the same as what I'm currently on).  Sigh.

All I can say is thank goodness I'm of reasonable intelligence and have enough good humour to enjoy a bit of a fight for a good cause.  I feel sorry for the people that get all this garbage when they're vulnerable or unable to spend the time and energy to get things sorted.

Ok, thanks for reply, so it seems you have been offered the option to carry on with your current 'deal', which is exactly what I am after. I have a sneaky suspicion they will try to remove the inclusive add-on from my terms when the contract expires next month (which is the only reason I have EE mobile to get TNT Sports at a reasonable price). Thanks again.
