What did you own? Just UK/Europe listed securities or US as well?Mega1 said:Hi guys i had an etrade account in the uk in 2004 but moved to Australia later that year and now trying to track down my shares held in that account, any advice or have i lost them for good ?

TD Waterhouse bought etrade UK in 2010 but probably just customers with UK listed securities, see below. If your account went to TD Waterhouse UK then this is a problem as well as it was sold to Interactive Investor in 2018.
You could try contacting II.

Etrade UK's 2009 full accounts say that customers trading US equities would be retained but UK and German equities sold:

Looks like the rump of Etrade's UK brokerage - US equities only - was wound up in 2012/13.
Reuters reported that a Wall Street Journal article stated that, "Customers of the British unit, E*Trade Securities Ltd, were recently notified of the planned shutdown and were given the option to transfer their accounts to another financial institution or to liquidate their positions..."

Comdirect was taken over by Selftrade which was sold to Equinity, if I remember correctly.Mega1 said:I had a comdirect account in the uk also early 2000's i have tracked down that comdirect Germany have took over but they have no record of my account, name, address or account number, is there anything i could do ?1 -
Following on from GeoffTF's comment, Google says you need to speak with Interactive Investor - it bought what was Selftrade from Equiniti.Mega1 said:I had a comdirect account in the uk also early 2000's i have tracked down that comdirect Germany have took over but they have no record of my account, name, address or account number, is there anything i could do ?
