land registry

I am trying to remortgage and it is being delayed due to an entry on land Proprietor: HSBC UK BANK PLC (Co. Regn. No. 9928412) of Customer Service Centre, BX8 5HB. 
how do I get rid of this as I have no idea

    Do you believe you owe HSBC anything for any reason (previous or current mortgage, secured loan  etc ?)

    possibly owe them money but not a mortgage how do I contact them in uk to find out this information as I can't seem to get a phone number of the net any help would be appreciated

    Sounds like you owed them money, you fell behind with payments or disputed the amount so they put a charge on your property. Do the dates align?
