I am trying to remortgage and it is being delayed due to an entry on land Proprietor: HSBC UK BANK PLC (Co. Regn. No. 9928412) of Customer Service Centre, BX8 5HB.

Do you believe you owe HSBC anything for any reason (previous or current mortgage, secured loan etc ?)

Sounds like you owed them money, you fell behind with payments or disputed the amount so they put a charge on your property.
