Different work done compared to quote - roof tile replacement

Hey all
I had some roofers quote me for replacing 2 tiles on my roof - one was broken, one had fallen off.
The quote was to remove the ridge tiles to complete the work. I thought this was needed to be able to replace the tiles below and to secure everything together again.
They did the work and don't seem to have done anything with the ridge tiles. I'm not sure how they've managed to properly secure everything then.
I'm hoping they've just done a different fix - I just want to make sure it's ok or if I should be getting some more info from the roofers. I'll put some before and after photos in the comments. If anyone could take a look and let me know what they think it would be great.
Note - the tiles are on a part of the roof I can't see.
Thanks!

Thanks!Looks Ok to me, but we can't see everything. It looks like artificial (possibly asbestos) slates. They have replaced the broken slate - which is held by a nail about 6" down from the edge of the ridge tile (can't be seen, but presumably done) and a bent copper rivet in the centre of the bottom edge. The slate above that and to the left has been secured at the bottom with a piece of lead or zinc, the top will be trapped by the ridge tile.To secure both slates might have required two ridge tiles to be removed and then replaced, but it looks like an Ok repair has been possible without doing that. You've likely got a better result as it has avoided disturbing the ridge and possibly creating a new problem.2 -
The ridge tiles aren't pointed against the slates, so there was no need to take them off. The new slates have slid under with a lead tingle holding down the last slate.2

@Section62 and @Stuart45 - thank you both so much for having a look and replying - I really appreciate it.
I'm so happy it's all good!

An interesting update - my friend managed to get up high and get a photo of the repair. The lead strap he put on is missing! I messaged him about it and his response was that it would be ok without it.
I'm working on my reply.
I haven't paid him for the work yet - I'm guessing that I can hold off until I am satisfied that the work has been correctly and safely completed?0 -
The lead tingle is what holds the slate in place. It should be nailed to the batten before the slate is slid up under the ridge tile. They don't normally drop out. Have you got a new photo of the repair?0

Hello Stuart - I have the photo below. It was really hard to get due to the extension on the house. I was on a chair on a slope pretty much in the neighbours garden!
The roofer is now messaging me pushing for payment, which I'm finding surprising and a tad upsetting.

Is the repair where the darker slate is?
Can't think how the lead tingle has disappeared.0 -
Hello again. I think that's the repair - there are no other slates which look any different or newer.
The roofer is saying that it's not a problem, I've looked a bit more online and I believe that it is. Could be wrong, but it looks like instead of doing a full repair (as he quoted for) and taking off the ridge tiles etc, he's gone for a quicker / easier / less effective repair.
As you say - the lead tingle is holding the slate in, so is more important that he's making it out to be!0
