Failed Double Glazing

We have a large patio sliding door thats quite old and has failed. By that I mean theres condesation between the glass. I know that in the long term replacement is the only solution but is there any short term tricks that might improve it somewhat? All sorts of crazy ideas online but do any work?

As far as I know the only real solution is to replace the double glazing unit.
This is relatively easy and cheaper than replacing the whole door.

Not so easy on an alluminium patio door to change the glazing unit. PVCu are easy, but any glass at low level will need to be toughened, so more expensive.Mr Generous - Landlord for more than 10 years. Generous? - Possibly but sarcastic more likely.0

Do you mean appearance? You could still all sorts of crap on it to hide the condensation. If you mean performance, probably little other than replace glass. It's worth trying a local window doctor type to see if they can advise. We had blown windows in our attic for years, thought it would cost a fortune to replace them so left it as we didn't use the room that much. In the end we got them done as we were selling up, and it was only around £300 for 3 medium sized panes. The windows were installed in the 80's, so old old.0
