Amex points --> Miles & More

I am wondering whether there is a way to get Miles & More (Lufthansa) miles via a UK credit card nowadays. I saw that one can transfer Amex points into Singapore airlines miles, but I am not sure they can be converted to Miles & More afterwards. All UK credit cards seems to be stuck with Avios.

But maybe there is still a way, though less direct/more time-consuming?

Beware of transferring to Lufthansa until you have a use because they have very hard expiration rules

It seems to say that there is no way to earn Miles&More miles directly. So I am wondering whether it is possible to transfer points between different StarAlliance partners.

This is true, and no you cannot transfer between, however you can payout to other StarAlliance airlines and then use those miles to book Lufthansa flights.
