Smart Meter not reporting and event 8154

My smart meter has not managed to communicate any half-hourly data since 20th July and this is bad since I am on a Time-of-Use tariff and use very little day-rate electricty at present.  The WAN and HAN lights on the comms hub flash together every 5 seconds so the comms hub thinks it is communicating normally.

The smart meter has an event log and the last "standard" event recorded was  Event code 8154 at 18:15:41 on 20th July, so the date corresponds to the start of my problem.  I looked this code up and it means:
"Immediate HAN Interface Command Received and Successfully Actioned Mandated"

Can anyone with a smart meter tell me if that is the normal response to a data read request?  Is your last "standard event" today or yesterday?  Can anyone with a smart meter tell me if their "standard" event log shows anything other than 8154 events and how recent the most recent one was.

Edit: 8154 is supposed to be a HAN request but I don't have a gas meter and my IHD was off for several moths until 1st August so  there was no HAN.  I have been using the IHD since 1st August and it reads data from the meter perfectly well.

I had an 11 day outage in March 2024 and the missing data then was never recovered but this outage is lasting longer and is still ongoing.

Have you asked your supplier to see if they can pull the data?  I have to do that with Octopus at the moment, since 26th June.  Like you I'm on a TOU tariff so I need them to get the HH data.

@Qyburn, I discovered the problem on Friday and emailed my supplier.  I'll probably try talking to someone on Monday.  Are you saying that in your case the DCC is not managing to do daily downloads but Octopus can get your data if they specifically request it?

Pretty much. Any time I've asked they've been able to get the import data via a manual request, so they have full import data right back to when the meter was installed on 1st April.

They can't get it via their normal daily (or whatever it is) process, and they can't get export or index (which they call "snapshot") even by manual request.

My meter has 100 logs of event 8154 the most recent (1 of 100) being at 18:15:41 in 20th July then fairly frequently before that back in time so log 100 of 100 is on 18th July.  Can it be a coincidence that my meter stopped making these logs on the day it stopped sending data?
