Have just set up a joint account; both myself and my wife have also set up and paid into Regular savers. Our current account switch from Santander 123 Lite is due to commence on 11th of this month.

    Yes you can.
I switched to FD recently and did all the qualifying transactions before the switch date. Got the switching bonus with no issue.
How long after fulfilling all the terms, did you receive the actual bonus?

Completed all requirements by early June, bonus was paid in on 14th June.
  • Sorry to tag on to the end of this but I’ve had a look at the T&C’s and am I right in thinking you could transfer £1000 into the account and then back out almost straight away and also have 2x standing orders for £1 to the same account as well?

    Yes. And yes.
Don’t forget the 5 debit card payments.

I opened a 1st Direct account and switched from Santander via an MSE link on 9th July. I've already received the switching incentive from 1st Direct but there was a "special" additional offer of Amazon voucher if going via MSE link before 13th July.
Did others use this link? If so ,have you yet received the voucher ? Ts & Cs says allow up to 90 days - still about 3 weeks to go for me -  was hoping that it wouldn't be dragged out to the end !
