UKCPM penalty charge

Options
Im a amazon flex delivery driver, I briefly stopped to deliver a parcel on one portal way on the 26th July, just seen i have a penalty charge today.

I called them and asked if loading/unloading is allowed and they said not on the double yellow lines, admittedly it does state that on the sign.

Is there anything i can do about this or should i just pay?

Definitely not a Penalty Charge,  look at the top left of that picture , Parking Charge,  but the driver didn't park

    Do not pay either

It seems to me that dropping off ( or picking up   ) comes under the allowed actions stated in the Laura Jopson case,  dropping off is not parking,  the yellow lines on private land,  or on the signs , cannot overrule an appeal case

Ignore it completely including £170 threatograms because the sums of money are extortionate, you are entitled to deliver (you weren't parked) and there is no fair or independent appeal on offer.

Tell them if you move house, obviously, but that's common sense! Come back if they get a solicitor to issue a Letter of Claim.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

  • Hello,

Thanks for the response, so I just ignore this until they get a solicitor involved.

    No attempt at appeal?

No appeal will work, stick to the advice given by coupon mad
