One of cooker's gas burners not burning at full flow.

Options
Our gas cooker has developed a problem with one of it's burners. The flame is permanently on slow. Even when we turn the knob to full flow the flames are about a quarter of what the maximum used to be. All the other 4 burners work fine and we suspect that there must be something stuck in the supply pipe for the burner. Does this sound likely and is it something I could fix myself or will I have to call for professional help(Is it even something that can be fixed at all?)

I guess it's possible that the supply pipe has a partial blockage.  But to my mind, a more likely scenario is simply that the burner itself has got gunged up, or has got a bit of debris stuck in it somewhere.  They're usually very easy to remove - can you take it off and give it a good clean?  There's nothing lost by trying - if it works it's cost you nowt, if it doesn't help then there's nothing lost.

You can lift off the pan supports and burner plate for cleaning - that's standard fare.
If that doesn't help, then provided you are personally happy to do so, you should be ok to go as far as using a small socket to undo the wee brass burner nozzle below. Check that for debris, and ensure it's fully unblocked. Run the gas for a couple of seconds with the nozzle removed to see if it blows out any debris. Then replace.
I see next to zero risk in that task.

The only time this happened with mine was when I had been a little too enthusiastic when cleaning & it got moisture stuck in it which did not want to come out for days.

A handy tool to clean out the nozzles is that little device you use to get thread through the eye of a needle.
Sometimes you may need to ammend it a little bit.
