Warranty payments on returned car

I bought a car and the 2nd hand dealership sold me an extended warranty. No option to buy after or alternative companies. The car came with a 6 months warranty.

Warranty was offered to be either paid in full or monthly over 10months, I selected the latter!
In 24hrs there was a fault, and the 2nd hand dealership repaired the first fault but when I took the car back two weeks later, a second fault appeared.

I lost confidence in the vehicle and customer service from the 2nd hand dealership was awful.

The 2nd hand dealership advised that they have contacted the finance company to cancel the Warranty....however, I am still being debited by Bumper finance the monthly amount.

They say they do not have any confirmation of the cancellation.

Can anyone advise?

Is the warranty able to be cancelled, or is it a case that you've bought it and still need to pay for it?

I'd get back in touch with the dealer and ask what's going on.

Was the warranty used to address any faults? If it was this usually means the full year is required to be paid. You need to check what was used to fix the faults and then check the T&C's of the warranty you signed up to.

I would have thought that warranty company would be the place to start, given they are taking the money.

Warranty to be cancelled, just getting the run around and lack of responses. Getting contrary information from dealership and warranty provider. Dealership says it was cancelled and Warranty say they've not heard from Dealership.

Warranty was extended to protect from future faults, to commence after the 6 month warranty which came with the sale. Car returned before the warranty went "live"

Have been contacting Warranty company, but they do not provide names, just help@ or support@ and no names. Now got a response from Complaints@.
The dealership are now following up with their Admin. The point of contact at the dealership says one thing, the warranty company say something else. Difficult who's mistake, lying but I've decided no more calls, all to be provided in writing.
