Hi,
Background: We applied for my late mother's probate, again, back in November 2024 due to the death of the probate administrator (probate had been granted previously). You would think it would be a simple case of changing one name for another, but it has had to go to a specialist team within the probate service! So far, we have been waiting 41 weeks and despite numerous emails & calls we are just stonewalled.
Apart from involving the local MP, is there any probate troubleshooter or any ideas on how this could get expedited as it is costing me over £300 in council tax, insurance, gas/Elec to keep the house running, which is crippling on top of the 2 house sales that have fallen through.
I really am at my wit's end with this service!
Thanks
