Is a Fresh Credit Check Done Before Car Insurance Auto Renewal?

My car insurance is upfront or renewal soon - I always paid monthly (with no issues.) However, my credit score is not very good just now.
Will they do a fresh credit check before auto renewal, even though they have had no problems with me?

Some do, some dont.
