Is 'Look Fantastic' a British company?
Not a small company and likely to be well invested in systems to prevent employee theft etc.
If OP had said they'd filmed the opening of the package 20 posters would line up to tell them it doesn't prove anything, not sure how the packing footage from the company would if such wouldn't.
Also wondering why the company can't share the footage with OP due to GPRD but can with the bank, do banks have special allowances under GPRD?0 -

I suspect most councils and bus companies dont have a video editing department and so of cause the irony is that they are likely to be sharing it with a third party to do the anonymisation but yet claim they cannot share it with us without the anonymisation.
Ultimately the privacy policy for employees would need to be reviewed and see who they have been told their PII may be shared with. It's possible it does include sharing it with banks in defence of chargebacks etc.
As an organisation we do share data with others but only after entering into an appropriate contract with the relevant clauses and indemnities around data protection. If we got sued because we'd shared a video and the company in question had then posted it on the internet we'd be fairly confident we'll receive indemnity from the company having both good legals and knowing the financial position of our suppliers. Whilst in principle I could enter into a data sharing agreement with Joe Bloggs, if my privacy policy allowed it, I wouldnt be confident that they'd have the resources to indemnify us if they did something inappropriate with the data.0 -

Even then they would not need to supply to reject. Words are enough. So would go to pre arb & Visa/Mastercard making a decision.
Who knows which way that would go. Although if there have been a lot of the same, then siding with customer is more likely to happen.Life in the slow lane0 -
That’s interesting. Should I put this to them (look fantastic) and see what their response is?0

Fairly certain AmEx you can upload videos as a file type to support payment disputes. Maybe your employers have been over cautious and locked down your machines to a silly level but not all banks do. When I worked for a bank we could view videos, go on YouTube etc with the company devices.0 -

How on earth do you know it is not possible for a request to be made to the banks IT dept. to permit a video to be viewed?0 -

Of course it is technically possible, but finding someone willing to allow it is the thing that is very very unlikely.0 -

Even if you could get round that many sites, like eBay and YouTube were blocked as default but we argued that we needed to value secondhand items and so eBay closed listings were an invaluable source of information and similarly CCTV was often shared with us and for larger files that was easier done with YouTube.
I'm sure IT hasn't gone backwards to the extent that IT can no longer create AD (or ADO) groups to say users in X team have different access to those in other teams. Similarly AmEx do accept video files so not all banks are the same.0 -

Any Visa/Mastercard disputes are all worked by their own systems, which does not have that facility. So retailers do not get to send direct to the contesting bank, & zero chance of knowing any staff member who raised the dispute.
So banks IT dept can not do anything. As they have nothing to do with a 3rd party system.
Disputes are not delt with by one person.
Whether staff can view video's or any other sites or not is a moot point & may vary by banks. Depending on that banks risk levels.Life in the slow lane1
