Comments

  • Two more shops to add, only 1 receipt though.
    A*di £6.86
energy drinks, crackers, bagels, greek yogurt,
    YS doughnuts

I'm going to say another £10 spend will no receipt
cat food, cat litter, butter, some other bits.

August total £318.68 out of £310

For 2 adults and 2 senior cats.

    Summary

I preferred buying the cat food in bulk as we did not have the worry of running out and getting to a shop for a more expensive smaller box. I liked using a gift voucher to cover this with discount from work, will do again in September.
We have scraped through and had a few too many takeaways when we did not have energy to cook, need to prepare for these days and have freezer better stocked with ready made food. Other commitments also meant that what we had planned did not end up working out timewise and the same with lunches, I spent too much on convinence food from my treats budget for basic lunches and still felt hungry!
    See you in September 😊

Grocery challenge June £241.19/£320. July £303.97/£215 August £318.68/£310
    September /£300

Just realized what a mess my freezer and fridge have got into over the last 6 weeks! Pulled out cooked Sweden to have with our roast and it turned out to be mashed potato!! I have been stuffing little bits of anything and everything into freezer so as not to waste anything. No time for labels! First thing tomorrow is a freezer inventory and then aeal plan from what we have.

My youngest daughter bought me some YS items too from W@itrose, even though I only asked her to get me some frozen sweetc@rn. She went home with a few bits in exchange that she had ran out of, to keep her going. Those bits she got me, will help me stretch things that bit further too.

Edited to add £5.03 today and £3.30 from stores.
