Hi. I brought a jaguar I pace on finance in 2023. Late 2024 battery issues occurred. Jaguar was able to get my car in for a diagnostic May 2024. They told me it was the battery but even the diagnostic was covered because a common fault. I have been waiting months to be called back in to get this fixed. I have been told due to shortage of engineers they have not been able to get me in sooner. I was advised it was safe to drive. However over 2 weeks ago numerous new faults flash at start up and car turns off. Other forums all say to do with original fault. I have contacted jaguar because I now cannot use my car but continue to make the monthly payments. They unclear to when they can get my car in to fix original fault and even when they do call it on they can't run a diagnostic on new faults so will need to be booked in again. My concern is it took months to get first diagnostic and yet waiting to be called to get first fault fixed so why should I continue to make payments for it when I cannot use it. I have contacted the Finance company who said faults should of developed within 6 months of purchase but my complaint is why should I pay for a car I cannot use. Any ideas where I stand with this because jaguar has not given a time frame when they can get my car in.

Don't stop the payments, you'll just make things worse for yourself.  Get back onto the dealer and insist on a courtesy car while yours is off the road.

I assumed they meant late 2023.  Or possibly that Jaguar took the car in in May 2025.
