Link bank accounts to Clearscore?

Options
I've been using Clearscore to track my credit rating but I'm curious if I should link my two bank accounts to it? I'm wondering if there are any reasons not to?

Does it give you access to better deals when it comes to loans assuming you are not in debt at the time?

Yes there is a benefit as they can see your incomings and outgoings.

However it’s not ideal to link them if you have any unpaid debt etc.

At best it might help a future credit application if they can see your income but I don't have any accounts linked to any CRAs and have no problem getting balance transfer cards, don't see any reason to give the CRAs more data so they can try and sell you stuff

Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.
