Also check there is entrance signage that adheres to the single code of practice. It's especially important when a private road uses public highway roadmarkings because it needs to made obvious it's private land. Double yellows allow alighting and loading/unloading, for example.

Thank you all for the valuable input and advice. I'll incorporate these points into my hearing notes.
From your experience, what do judges tend to focus on during a small claims hearing?
Do they usually invite the claimant and defendant to make opening statements, or do they prefer to ask questions themselves? Also, are the parties generally allowed to cross-examine each other, or does the judge lead the questioning?

Yep, that's not an entrance sign.
There should be something to show you are entering private land and what the key term is.

That sign says:WARNING: TOW AWAY ZONE
Towing away on private land is a criminal offence.
Illegal since 2012 in the POFA section 56.
And the lower sign pushes the supposed t&cs sign so high that it's completely illegible, therefore no contract exists.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Where were your parked? Your photo doesn't seem to tally with being inside the red outlined zone?

Ok. Just worth exploring all options.
Look up Denning's red hand rule.
See how large the big P for parking is compared with the £100.
Look up the Parking Eye sign in the Beavis case for the size of the £100 on that.
