    There is no way that a washing machine could run a boil wash then a cold wash quickly enough to cause thermal problems to a glass door. The drain period after the hot wash would give plenty time for it to cool down, let alone that the hot wash would have its own rinse period using cold water directly afterwards.

    I have just had my 2.5 year old beko imploded - the glass mainly went inside the machine - this was on a drum clean so we have a mix of glass and boiling water - whilst I was thankful that no one was injured I am having real problems getting this resolved with the supplier- I wanted the machine to go off for inspection as this really should not happen

    Who is the supplier ( assume you mean retailer). It’s going to be hard to prove an inherent fault and after 2.5 years there wouldn’t be much to refund on a Beko washer

    probably easier to source a new glass door for around £40 and replace it yourself
