What happens in this situation, please?
I am going on holiday at the weekend and have already set up 'holiday time' on ebay to stop sales on Thursday.
From 3 days days I have an item, which sold but the buyer hasn't yet paid. Ebay is preventing me fom sending an invoice. If the buyer doesn't pay, say until the weekend, the item won't get posted off for another two weeks.
Would i get any penalty from eBay for this ?.

On Day 4 you can cancel the sale without penalty or cost on the basis of non payment. The option should appear exactly 4 days after item was bought, at that point I also block the buyer.
It's quite handy being able to cancel on day 4 - in the old days it could take 2 weeks but now if running auctions you only have to stop them 5 days before you go on holiday- and know you can either post or cancel.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Funnily enough the buyer has just paid a few minutes ago, but at least it's good to know the answer if there's a 'next time'0 -
