Morning all, thanks for starting us off ScarletUp and at 'em this morning. Off to London today. One museum I've never been to is the Victoria and Albert Museum so am going to have a wander round there today. Catching the 9am train so hope there's plenty of seats as I don't fancy standing up for the 50 minute journey. Might pop into Harrods for a look around if my knees are still up to it. V&A website says there's '7 miles of display space' so I don't think I'll be seeing everything there is to see!Have a good day all and hugs for the poorlies x14

Morning again, it's a sunny one here.
Dil messaged last night to see if I wanted to meet her in Newcastle this morning for a look round the shops, so I'll get the bus in. It'll be a nice change.
The Tuesday quiz is not on for a couple of weeks because of people going on holiday so we won't be out tonight.
Have a good day in London Chrisca.
Hope everyone manages to have a good day, thoughts to anyone who is not well.
Take care folks.

Good morning, thanks for starting Scarlet, and enjoy your day Chrisca.
Dull and raining here but forecast to clear up this morning, good old English weather.
Not much happening here, I have a couple of bills to pay, so will pop out and do that later. Sausages for dinner tonight, mash or chips and beans to be decided later.
Have a good day all, take care.13 -

Morning all
Dry here for now but some rain due later on, I’m hoping it stays off a while as we were going to try and get out for a walk this morning and have a picnic lunch before going to a GC for a browse and a cup of tea in the afternoon.
I went to see mum yesterday and she is doing very well, she is being discharged today so DD will go and collect her as my sister and I are both working, her house is all clean and tidy for her with fresh bedding on the bed so she will be more comfortable there and able to rest which seems impossible in hospital.
I spent 3 hours yesterday going through mums paperwork which was just stuffed into drawers, I think she had kept every bill that’s ever been sent to her, I got rid of a load of stuff, it’s all in two files now so should be easier to keep on top of.
I took some brisket out of mums freezer and cooked it yesterday so I will slice it later and she can have some for dinner with a few chips. We are having lasagne which was made a while ago and put in the freezer. I will make a big salad to go with it.
Chrisca enjoy London xx
Have good days all and take care xx

Mornign all! Grey and drizzly, yay! I did the washing yesterday so no need for it to be dry today. We're going to watch the Fantastic 4 film later on, not sure what I'll be doing until then. The blackberries are cooked and I gave a tub to OHs mum too, so that job is done, the pectin is in the freezer and I suppose I'd better get something out of there to have later...Possibly a crispy duck thing my sister bought us..being as we have spring onions and cucumber.Ruby, fingers crossed things are still going on behind the scenes for Rob. Good news about your mum and well done you both for sorting out her house fr her. Allie have a lovely times in Wales x 3
Chris, have a nice time in London, I dont think Ive been there either. I wouldn't mind going but the train is so expensive from here. God knows why, it's straight shot. Izzy, emptying and filling the freezer again? I like it! Take care all...

Morning all, thanks Scarlet, enjoy the day out.Allie have a good trip, and Chrisca.Glad people are getting out- I had a run in the car with DH to get a car part up the motorway towards Preston
yesterday. S We also nipped into MrT on the way to get a few bits.It seems to be a bit drizzly today, not been out with LittleLenny yet. It's a bit of a change doing 2 longer walks during the day after our old lady L would only walk across the road in the wood for about 5 minutes! The days are rushing by, one benefit is that I am talking to more people than I have in years
Had a visit from a neighbour up the road asking if I'd seen anyone with a barrow dumping tree branches etc. , some of which went over her fence. Someone across from her had seen 2 people who fit the description of the newish people further down and she went to have a word but they said it wasn't them. I walked that way after and there is a lot of stuff.Unsure on tea later, DH & DS1 had some chinese stuff he picked up yesterday so they may have what's left of that. I had mozzarella with salad, and also got some of the cheese left so could be an easy one.Ruby, sounds like you've been very busy at DMs, hope she gets a better rest at home.Right, time to get the boy out for his walk-take care all:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'.
