Citroen Recall

I have had to take my car for the airbag repair to a garage in Macclesfield, I was told I could not drive the car and the garage had no pickup trucks available. I hired a truck to take me to Macclesfield from Denton, Manchester this morning at a cost of £100. How do I claim my money back.

Did you make the garage aware of this before hiring the vehicle?

You would need to speak to Citroen. But don't hold your breath.

I was told by Vertu Gatehead that Citroen were paying £50 plus £1 per mile towards the cost. When I spoke to Citroen they told me I could not drive the car and they would organise a pick up, but surprise surprise I have not heard from them. I also sent them an email but have still not had a reply. When I go back to pick up my car this afternoon I will ask the garage if they have any details of who to get in touch with.
