HOME AND AWAY COMPETITION - ADDITIONAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The 5 for £5 Special Offer applies to text entries to this competition where you could get 5 entries for the price of £5 on your first entry and 10 entries for £5 on your next two entries. The £5 entry method is capped at 3. For terms see General Terms and Conditions here and Privacy Policy here

The winner will be contacted via phone call on the afternoon of the 19th of September. We will then proceed to make one text and one call a day, on working days, to that Entrant, if an Entrant fails to be contacted by 5pm 24th September, they will forfeit their chance to win the prize. We will continue to proceed in this manner by picking another Entrant at random and allowing 24 hours with two calls and one texts to attempt contact until a winner has been confirmed. The 5 Team’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

1) The prize comprises an eight (8) night stay in Western Australia for two (2) people including;

a) Return Economy flights from London Heathrow to Perth, Western Australia

b) Return transfers from the airport in Perth, Western Australia to the Perth hotel

c) Eight (8) night’s half board 4* (minimum) accommodation sharing a standard twin or double room. Four (4) nights will be in Perth Hotel and Four (4) nights will be in Exmouth Hotel.

d) Return Internal flights and transfers to Learmonth, Western Australia from Perth Hotel

e) Four (4) days car hire from Exmouth Airport, collecting and returning to there.

f) A visit to the Home and Away location set in Western Australia  

g) An Aboriginal cultural tour in Kings Park and Botanic Gardens, Perth, Western Australia, including return transfers to Perth accommodation.

h) A swim with manta rays in Coral Bay, Western Australia. The tour includes return pick up drop off transfers to Exmouth accommodation.

i) A guided hiking tour in Cape Range National Park, Exmouth Western Australia. The tour includes return pick up drop off transfers to Exmouth accommodation.

j) A guided snorkelling tour in the World Heritage-listed Ningaloo Marine Park, Exmouth, Western Australia. The tour includes return pick up drop off transfers to Exmouth accommodation.

k) £1,000 spending money

l) £100 allowance for fuel.

2) The prize winner and their guest must be 18 years or older. Please note that either the prize winner or their companion will need a current and valid credit card in order to check in at the accommodation for security deposit purposes.

3) The winner and their guest must be able to travel between 11 October 2025, and 26 October 2025 for an 8 night trip to Western Australia. The stay must be completed within the time-frame stated within these terms and conditions. Extensions to the validity of the prize will not be allowed unless first authorised by 5.

4) The winner must be contactable for acceptance of their prize by 5pm on the 24th September 2025 and able to depart the UK from a London airport  before 19 October 2025.

5) The winner or their guest will require a current and valid UK driving licence for Car Hire. Car hire is through a separate car hire provider who have their own terms and conditions, as well as minimum driver ages and requirements. Fuel allowance of £100 to be supplied as a BACs transfer by the tour operator ahead of travel.

6) Due to the nature of the prize, some travel arrangements may be prebooked and no alternative options will be available.

7) Booking is subject to availability and should be made with Travelbag sponsored by Tourism Western Australia. The prize winner will be bound by the tour operators’ terms & conditions.

8) A BACS transfer for the £1,000 spending money included in the prize will be issued in the prize winner’s name within 14 days of the holiday booking being confirmed. £500 to be supplied by BE2B on behalf of 5 and £500 to be supplied by the tour operator.

9) Neither 5 nor Seven or Tourism Western Australia will accept responsibility for the accommodation or any facilities / elements of the prize being unavailable, withdrawn or amended.

10) Any amendments made by the prize winner after the booking is confirmed may be subject to administration charges levied by the specific supplier. Any such charges will be the responsibility of the prize winner.

11) There cannot be any guarantee of which Home and Away cast member(s) the winners will meet on location in Western Australia.

12) If fulfilment or any element of this promotion is delayed or affected due to a pandemic or global emergency and resulting Government restrictions, all entrants affected will be contacted by the Tour Operator and kept updated of any unavoidable changes to the promotional dates, revised fulfilment dates or prizes.

13) It is the responsibility of the prize winner to inform the prize provider of any wheelchair or similar access requirements for the prize winner and his/her companion when taking the prize, and to adhere to any applicable health and safety guidelines.

14) Any additional charges or expenses due to a pandemic or global emergency which could include but are not limited to quarantine hotels, medical passports (should they become a requirement), medical tests etc. will be the responsibility of the prize winner. 

15) An e-Visa is required for entry into Western Australia. Passports and visas are the responsibility and at the cost of the prize winner. 5 cannot be held responsible if the prize winner or any of the travelling party fail to obtain the required travel documentation. In the event the winner or their guest are unable to travel due to visa or other personal circumstances, no alternative tickets will be issued, and no compensation or other Prize will be provided.

16) Travel insurance is not included but it is strongly advised for travel. It is the responsibility of the prize winner to organise and pay costs associated with obtaining appropriate travel insurance for themselves and their companion. 

17) The prize winner and their party (where applicable) are responsible for and must comply with any health advice / regulations / inoculations required by Western Australia.  Any associated costs for this are the responsibility of the prize winner and their party (where applicable).

18) There is no cash alternative or refund for unused portions of the prize.

19) For the avoidance of doubt, the prize does not include travel to and from the home to the airport, gratuities, meals or other  travel expenses unless otherwise stated, or any other costs of a personal nature not stated for winner and guest.
