Faulty car, failed repairs and a refusal of a refund

I have bought a used car in April, and within 15-20 mins I noticed two faults. Communicated these with the dealership, they said book the car in a garage for inspection and they will get it sorted. The garage confirmed all faults (5 total, including one engine related which would require new engine or an engine rebuild). They didn't want to deal with the dealership, but told them what was wrong. I asked the dealer for a refund that day (9 days after purchase). They refused; insisted I bring the car back for inspection. They kept the car for 2 months, during which time they carried out most repairs except one. The heated seats still don't work, they basically said come get your car we're not doing any more repairs as we don't have to under CRA2015. I rejected the car on 7/7/2025 using my final right to reject due to a failed repair under section Section 24(5) and 24(6) of CRA2015. They refused, gave me a deadline to collect the car and have been charging "storage fees" since. They have now threatened with court action to get these fees from me.
My question is - was my rejection right? They are claiming they do not have to carry out the last repair as the car is drivable
Also - legally can they impose these storage fees?

They can claim for whatever they want, just like you can. Whether they are successful is another story.
How did you pay for the car? What was the value, age, mileage?0 -

How did you pay for the car? What was the value, age, mileage?I paid cash (bank transfer), the car was £7000, its a 10 year old Jaguar with 73k miles.0 -
How did they resolve the engine rebuild/replacement issue?
If that was resolved satisfactorily I would have taken the car back. Its 10 years old and doesn't not really impact the driveability/use of the car. I doubt any legal recourse would be on your side.
I would agree to take the car back if the vendor removes the storage charge.Mortgage free
