I don't have Facebook so can't read the post, but I can only imagine it's full of very unhappy people making very vocal their displeasure! 

What I want to know is why it took TC so long to pull the competition? There should have been people monitoring it and as soon as it was flagged that too many people were winning the larger prizes it should have been pulled. Far less reputational damage done and far less money to pay out by honouring the prizes "won" before pulling it. Maybe fewer than 100 x £36.80 prizes, rather than the multi-thousands affected now.

Why wait over 48 hours before pulling it, and giving more and more people the impression that they had won larger prizes, when it was obvious to the birds in the trees and dogs on the street that something wasn't right?

By leaving it so long, people had time to post about their winnings on social media and many more people would have taken part, who probably wouldn't have otherwise, also winning bigger prizes and repeating the cycle.

Not sure how TC will handle it, but this could be a massive PR disaster for them if they screw it up. TC took their eye off the ball and will have to pay up in terms of £££ and/or reputationally. The longer they stay silent and not deal with the issue, the worse it will become for them in terms of reputational damage.

I can remember even further back, 30+ years to the Hoover free flights promotion. One of the worst PR disasters in corporate history! 🤣

Blog comment is still there for me haven't looked at FB

The FB post's still there. Not that I've anything to complain about, seems I'm one of the few who didn't win anything!
