Energy Club Tool - Bug?

I ran the energy club tool totady comparing against what I will pay WHEN MY CURRENT DEAL ENDS. The following two results interested me (NOTE - neither deal involves cash back or any other type of additional saving):
Outfox - £220 cheaper, and Octopus £106 cheaper. The monthly amount quoted pretty much matched the difference between the two (£114).
However, when I change the comparison to show against what I CURRENTLY pay, the results are very different:
Outfox - £75 cheaper, Octopus £39 cheaper - a difference of only £36. The monthly amount quoted stays the same (as I would expect).
This cannot be right. If you benchmark the new figures against different bases then of course the difference compared to the base will change, but the difference BETWEEN the two new tariffs must stay the same, as will the monthly amount. In this case the monthly amount does indeed stay the same but the difference between the two of them is wildly different. On the first basis I definately choose Outfox as it's much cheaper, on the second I probably choose Octopus despite being a little more expensive.
Using the exact same usage figures that are loaded into the tool I crunched the numbers and made Outfox £84 cheaper and Octopus £39 more expensive, which is quite close to the 'what I currently pay' figures generated by the tool EXCEPT Octopus' tariff is £39 MORE rather than £39 LESS. This makes the difference between those two £123 which is much closer to the 'when my deal ends' figures so, whilst there is more going on here, the main issue seems to be that the Octopus figure is wrongly showing as a £39 saving when it should actually show as £39 more.
