Good morning
Thank you for the start @Ger

Take careIf you walk at night no-one will see you cry.15 -
Morning GERS and all to follow. Summer is back, the sun is shining and the sky is blue.
I'm up and at 'em early doors as I have a busy day ahead. (Well busy for me, but not by others' standards!) I have the long awaited phone appt with the Pharmacist this morning and then hopefully he will update all my meds and I can order again. Such a pain. Then after an early lunch I am off to Boundary Mill with DD. We are both wanting the same thing - bras from the M & S outlet. DD as she wants new ones for their upcoming holiday and me 'cos I desperately need some! Our nearest M & S is now over 20 miles away thanks to closures. I have bought them elsewhere but I never seem to get the same fit as M & S ones. I know there is always online but I prefer to look at them! There is currently a clearance sale on too so might be tempted by other bits I don't need!
The shopping got done early yesterday. We went during browsing time again as it's so civilised and peaceful. DS was waiting for a till opening but I obviously hadn't dashed round quick enough! When we got back he was surveying the hedge, whoop whoop! He said he would take their shopping home and once put away he would come back and see to it. So it's now all neat and tidy, albeit a bit wibbly wobbly! He's a good 'un.
Have a good day folks if you can with ((HUGS)) for our poorlies or poorly loved ones. RUBY your new larder cupboard sounds wonderful, I am envious. Though I wouldn't have anywhere to put one! Take care all, stay safe xx

Perhaps today will be dry, my fingers are crossed. Hope it is for you too @SO and your washing can hang out. Your day sounds productive @TA - yes, can't beat M&S bras.Sunday was a quiet day for me. I'm contemplating life and the universe
and my place in it. My oldest nephew and his cycling partner are taking part in the Transcontinental Race, 4000km unsupported so my anxiety levels are at an all time high and won't come down again until they are finished or stop, may well be three weeks or so. As start time approach last night I could have run for hours just to get rid of the nerves - obviously didn't.
Now I will spend loads of time tracking them online. The second half of the football match was on with the sound turned off, it was lovely to see the win and the happiness afterwards though my heart went out to the devastated Spain team.
This morning I'm off down to Glasgow, firstly to collect my new plants which were delivered to a friend there. Tomorrow afternoon I've got an appointment with an orthopaedic surgeon in Paisley so the timings worked well.I hope that everyone is doing well and can enjoy the day.PS - looked up your new larder @Ruby - what a fabulous thing! It's almost as big as my entire kitchen but I still have envy.16 -
Good morning, thanks for starting Gers.
It's fine here, hope it will be a good day, I need to do some washing.
Had a quiet day yesterday, we did go out for a walk to the park, it was busy.
I'll be visiting my old friend up the road this afternoon, and that's about it for today, apart from the usual housework of course.
Ruby, I too am envying your larder cupboard, but l wouldn't be able to fit it in, like TA !
Enjoy your trip to Boundary Mills TA, don't spend too much!
Hope everyone has a good day, take care folks.16 -

Morning everyone I’m off out soon to meet my friend for a coffee and a catch up we always have plenty to natter about it’s dry and mild here not a lot happening I’ve got 10 %voucher to use at Lidl I’ve never got it before I’m going to stock up on some of next months shopping but it also shows me I have spent far to much on shopping this month although I did stock up on flour and sugar but considering I’m trying to get the freezer down the next six months are going to be on a tight budget but I don’t care what they keep telling us prices are still going up . Not a lot else happening.thinking of all the poorlies hugs to those that need them have a good day everyone whatever you are doing12

Almost the end of another month - goes so quickly.Yesterday was an odd day - got loads done but didn’t really feel like it. The Indonesian Nasi Goreng was lovely however I’d glanced at the recipe and it looked simple enough, then when I started doing some prep realised that one of the ‘ingredients’ was a spice paste mix which itself had 15 ingredients. Fortunately I had most of them and a few alternatives were substituted.A few bits to sort and tidy this morning and take DM for a shopping trip this afternoon which hopefully won’t be too long!Hope everyone enjoys the start of their week

Thanks for the start Gers, enjoy your trip to Glasgow, hope the appointment goes well tomorrow.
It's a bit overcast this morning but dry, may put a wash load on before I go to the allotment and after I've had a shower. Allotment 2 gave me 7 courgettes yesterday - need to find some folk to give them to! I made a courgette & onion tart yesterday (thanks for the recipe Gers) and it was really tasty. Plenty left in the fridge for another couple of meals.
I'm meeting some work colleagues for lunch today, will collect an order from a shop nearby on my way and go in search of the perfect sock - my favourites are all dying but I'm a bit fussy!
Hope everyone is well and you have a good Monday. Take care. XX14 -
Morning all
Dry and bright and sunny here but rain due tomorrow. I am off to mums today to do some work I’m going to continue with the wardrobe tidy and then sort her paperwork which is currently stuffed into four drawers! I have got her some files to store it in and can probably get rid of a load. I will pop to see her later too I have a feeling she will be discharged today but we will see.
Thank you for the comments on my new cupboard 😃 I am very excited we don’t have room in the kitchen for it but it will go in the little room off of the kitchen which was originally the dining room, (we eat in the conservatory) we will have to move things round a bit in there but it will be worth it.
I have just put a wash on and will hang it out before work. Not sure about dinner I will go and look in the freezer after this.
I think I should hear about my escalated complaint by the end of this week / early next week, I have heard nothing at all so far only that Rob appears well, tbh I don’t have a good feeling about it I think they will just fob me off again but we will see.
I did a bit of gardening yesterday and tidied up a bit out there, there are a few gaps where bedding plants have gone past their best so I may have to get a few more.
I watched the end of the football last night the ladies did so well, it was quite an exciting finish.
Have good days all and take care xx13 -
Morning everyone
Cloudy here this morning but hopefully the sun will come out later.
I'm number 10 in the queue to speak to a receptionist at the doctors, I'm hoping to get an appointment to speak to someone about my painful legs and feet.
Almost finished little one's bedroom, I stuck up all the flower fairies yesterday and have some unicorn pictures coming from Amazon later and that will be it done.
Aaaah i can have a phone appointment then if she wants to see me she'll then give me an appointment...I'm going to write down everything I want to say to her otherwise I'll forget.
I have workmen coming today to fit an extra stair rail, so at least that should help, I've waited since February because it needed two joiners...I did offer to hold one end myself!
DD and little one are coming home today, but it will be tomorrow before I see them...DD sent me some lovely photos yesterday.
Right best write this list. I hope everyone has a good day today x10
