Equiwatt App

I got the equiwatt app so that I could download my usage from n3rgy but I never use the app because I don't like having all that stuff on my phone.
However I keep getting emails from equiwatt about not using the app
if you remain opted out and inactive for 1 more week, we’ll disconnect your smart meter from your equiwatt account.
So if I ignore them I will no longer be able to download my usage from n3rgy?
Is there another way to still be able to download my usage from n3rgy without being hassled?

Recently my n3rgy account denied my login (used to work a few months ago). So I contacted support and this was their reply:
'We can confirm that you have a current account with N3rgy. However, due to changes introduced on 3rd December 2024 to ensure compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Smart Energy Code (SEC), access to your data now requires an Active Consent with one of our registered Business Customers. If you are unable to access your data, it is likely because your previous Active Consent has been withdrawn. While you may still be able to log into your account, data retrieval will not be possible without an active registration with a Business Customer. To restore access, you can sign up with any of our partner Business Customers. You are not required to use their services or applications, but registering with one will generate the necessary Active Consent, enabling you to access your data through your existing N3rgy login.'
I signed up for a free account with Snugg (www.snugg com) and set up third party access to my meter data.
Snugg do not require you to use their services and they haven't pestered me. I can now download my energy data from n3rgy as I used to.4
